Asia in December...
On Sep 5, 2007 - 11:36 AM In: Asia I'm planning a trip to the Philippines this December. From there, I would like to visit other countries around the area. Is it expensive to go to India or Australia from there? Any tips?... |

RE: Pizza in the US vs. Pizza in Italy (food content)
On Aug 24, 2007 - 11:59 AM In: Europe You know, when we were in Europe, we never bothered to have pizza, but now based on your review, we are glad we didn't. We were in Buenos Aires recently and we tried the pizza two times there. The first time was in the swanky Recoleta district and it was an anchovy pizza, we are fans of anchovies so we loved it! The second time was late at night where we paid only $2 (great exchange rate!) for a whole pizza which was plain cheese, yeah unless its got Argentinean anchovies, their plain pizza can't compare to a Ray's NY pizza from the states. But Argentinean empanadas, a whole different story! We'll be uploading a short segment on it later so stay tuned! ... |

RE: Argentina!
On Jun 27, 2007 - 08:28 PM In: South America Hey IvAnPie, Thanks for sparking some light into this forum. We will be in Buenos Aires and will stay there for the duration of the trip. We don't have any concrete plans yet, we were about to visit Iguazu Falls but are still debating on whether or not to take a flight all the over there. But we do plan to eat as much Argentinean steak as humanly possible. :) We'll will definitely keep you posted on our experiences, maybe tape some segments from there too. ... |

RE: Machu Picchu?
On Jun 26, 2007 - 10:45 PM In: South America I think you can go at it on your own. Although I hear it would be better to go on a tour so you can learn more historical details from your guide. There are three different trains you can take up: the Backpacker, Vistadome, or Hiram Bingham (kinda like coach, business, or first class). ... |
